June 24th - 10:00pm - If somebody had to define Llorca's music, one might say he composes a mix of acoustic and electronic music inspired by Afro-American musical heritage - from blues to jazz, to soul and techno.

He began his DJ career in the 1990’s when he met David Duriez with whom he formed the label ‘Brique Rouge’. In 1997, he sent his demo to the famous French label "F-Communications” and soon became their leading artist. With his music filled with funky and soulful grooves, Llorca’s his first album ‘New Comer’ in 2001 was an immediate success selling over 200,000 records worldwide.

After three years of DJ performances in the hippest clubs, a world tour with musicians, several EPs and a mixed-CD compilation entitled ‘My Playlist’, Llorca is currently recording his second album expected to be released by F-Communications in 2007.

Also playing at "La Fete" Grand Opening on June 22nd

June 30th - 10:00pm - Like many of his peers, Tim Paris started by going to rave parties and soon after started mixing. His talent and broad range of tastes - from Funk, Disco and House to Broken Beat, Electro and Detroit techno - make his sets very eclectic and particular.

His rising popularity led him to play regularly in the best clubs around the world such as the Rex Club, Batofar, Pulp and Nouveau Casino in Paris, The End in London, Weekend Club in Berlin, Mondo in Madrid, as well as in Barcelona, Singapore, Johannesburg, Moscow and Miami among other destinations. He also launched his own itinerant club night with Chloé and Alexkid called ‘Ghetto Blaster’ and co-manages the labels Silver Network, and Crack&Speed with Jef K.

Production-wise, each release confirms his great potential. After 2 noteworthy EPs on Virgo and Tom Bone Vibrating Music, his remix of ‘Future Now’, licensed on 2020 Vision has become a worldwide classic.

His forthcoming releases on Crack&Speed, Dialect and his new label Marketing, will certainly cause the same commotion!

Also playing at Fête de la Musique on July 1st.

July 6th - 10:00pm - In the early 90s, JCLS aka Wax Tailor was a rapper, composer, producer and manager in the group ‘La Formule Band’. In 1998, he created the "LAB'ORATOIRE” label in order to produce different musical projects.

In 2002, he started producing the Wax Tailor project. Following his two successful EPs ‘Lost the Way’ and ‘Que sera / Where My Heart’s At’, Wax Tailor delivers his much awaited first album, ‘Tales of the Forgotten Melodies’ described as a ‘cinematic hip-hop’ experience.

In his music, Wax Tailor uses samples as film directors use actors. Influences and references to the seventh art are numerous. Major names of 20th-century music meet famous film directors, among them: Galt Macdermot, John Cassavetes, Herbie Hancock, Stanley Kubrick, John Barry, Charles Chaplin, Public Enemy, Woody Allen, Portishead or Ernst Lubitsch.

Wax Tailor will perform live, merging sound and video, hip hop, scratch and electro music.

Also playing at Bangkok Code on July 8th.

July 7th - 10:00pm

DJ and producer, Chloé is the star of Parisian club culture. She first started mixing in Paris in 1995 at the ‘Café du Trésor’ and at the ‘Mezzanine de l’Alcazar’. Then she mixed after-hours at Batofar, and at ‘Pulp’ (mythical Parisian club) where all experiments were possible. Her style, a cross between German minimalism and ‘dirty’ electro, reflects her eclecticism, making her one of the most sought after DJs in French clubbing.

Resident at the evenings ‘Guest Off’, ‘No Dancing Please’ at the Pulp, and ‘Panik’ at the Elysée-Montmartre, she is also a regular guest at Michael Mayer’s parties in Cologne, the Gomma crew in Munich, and Ellen Alien at WMF in Berlin.

Never neglecting producing, she released 2 EPs (‘Erosoft’ on Katapult in 2001 and ‘The Forgotten EP’ released in 2004), both adored by the specialized press. She has also worked, either remixing or performing original compositions, with numerous labels such as Gomma, Kill the DJ, Crack&Speed, Get Physical, FCom, Dialect…

Also playing at Bangkok Code on July 8th.
